RК-13 Repair kit for locomotive air conditioner
The advantages of using the repair kit RК-13-Х-Y1:
1. Use of semi hermetic compressor reduces the likelihood of refrigerant leakage.

- Virtually eliminates the need for maintenance.
- Excludes significant starting currents.
- Reduces power values.
- Facilitates the operation modes and increases the service life of car batteries.
- Ensures a smooth transition between the cooling stages.
- The engine compressor on three-phase voltage 80 V can be applied to the inverter circuit with a single energy conversion.
- Cooling the drive by refrigerant increases reliability in high temperatures.

4. Full installation compatability with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic connections of existing equipment.
5. Can be installed in the depot.
6. Improves the comfort of passenger cars by reducing noise and vibration.

It is installed into the compressor frame instead of the compressor unit equipment MAB-II. At the same time the frame is not exposed by any mechanical refinements.

Connection of the repair kit to the locomotive scheme
The normal circuit connections of compressor unit МАB-II are used. Use of the conductor’s control panel is similar to the the normal operation of МАB-II.
