The REN2E is designed for soft start and rotational speed control of submersible drilling rigs of all types from Э127-4В5 to Э290-6МВ5. It also provide diagnosis and protective functions.

• Automatic rotational speed control according to the algorithm specified by the operator.

• Automatic limiting of drill motor moment and current.

• Diagnosis of machinery and electrical equipment, full range of drill protection from electric accidents and emergency situations.

• Possibility of drilling with controlled whipstock.

• Short circuit protection of “current distributor - drill” system.

• Drill motor overload protection and drilling bit jam.

• Pre-alarm and alarm signaling.

• Prohibited re-closing after emergency drill shut-down.

• Prohibited start of the drill at circuit discontinuity and insulation failure in “current distributor - drill” system.

• Non volatile memory for historical information on parameters and operating mode.

• Provides instantaneous control of the four-quadrant velocity electric drive of the winch for automatic regulation of weight capacity.
